Kimber can sing all of "I am trying to be like Jesus"!!! It is my favorite song, and a couple of months ago she asked, so I sang it for her. She since then request me to sing it almost every night. Tonight she sang it to me.
I wont so desperately for her to understand the song, and really apply it to her life. There are so many thing to teach her, but I think this song is one of the most important. The most is taught in the song "I am a Child of God."
I have such a testimony of music, and I love music. I know how it can change the mood of a room, and how it can bring such joy.
I'm trying to be like Jesus, I'm following in his way.
I'm trying to love as He did, in all that I do and say.
At times I am tempted to make the wrong choice
but the Spirit whispers with a still small voice saying,

try to so kindness in all that you do.

"I am trying to be like Jesus" is my favorite song too! Even though I can't sing as beautifully as you do, I hope someday to at least be as great a mom (and cook) as you!
